The Migration

Ancestors cross oceans and continents from Galicia, Mezquitic, Hagåtña to the Américas. A promise of a better life becomes the forgetting ground. Worlds converge leaving fragments of lost souls. Unconsciously navigating their new world, they forget to teach their children the language and culture of their people.

In my elder years, I learn to critique with love and action, not hate. On a path of self cultivation and working towards joy, art is a medium I use to express myself. I am coming to terms with who I am becoming and finding my voice for the grandchildren.
